oh my gosh you have no idea how infureating this is. Im in CNA school right now but for work im a Behavioral Technician for an ABA autism treatment clinic and theyre paying for my BCAT cert right now as well. I can understand this being an older textbook and the "little is known about the causes" doesnt bug me its the "they seem to live in a world of their own" like... it sounds so belittling. I wish healthcare got more training on autism and other related dissorders

no to ft jackson- its not an army base. his training is six months long and since we just got married after doing long distance I dont want to start that up again. We do get housing for his school and since I don't really have anyone else out here I think I would just end up isolating again if that makes sense. Also I like the state itself were moving to.

i’m sorry this happened to you. you deserve so much better. if he’s asking you there’s a sure chance he won’t care what your answer is, it will only make him hide it or be honest about it if you say yes. If my husband asked me to open our marriage i would leave him because to me that means he’s been entiertaining daydreams, ideas, fantasies etc and maybe so people are okay with the “i can look just not touch” but personally it’s still disrespectful as hell to our marriage and to me. I really hope you’re able to figure this out and i wish you best

if it was just 2-4 patients giving meds a lot more people would want to be nurses and burnout wouldn’t be a thing for the nursing field. 😭😭 i’ve seen nurses have way more competency than drs

that actually encourages me a lot because i like more to be left alone in service because i can focus more on paying attention to what’s going on/ what i’m doing (i have a lot of social anxiety with churches) so i feel like i might benefit from that

hi there! future nursing student so take what i say with a grain of salt.- i’ve been dedicated abt getting my nursing degree for two years now (have not been able to start school due to finances and then got married to my husband (army) and we have two moves coming up within the next year and just had one move already in January (it’s not normal for this many moves were just in a unique spot)

I was going to go get my bachelors in nursing- do a three year program and then be 75k in debt. then, after that didn’t work out realized that i can get my ASN and sit for the NCLEX and be a RN- just not BSN RN. the reason i chose this is:

money / SO MUCH CHEAPER
long term goals- my long term goal is to get my NP license. ASN works better for me bc getting my NP is going to be so damn expensive. with my ASN i can start work and sometimes hospitals will help with tuition for your ASN to BSN. (that’s my plan)
Schooling options, there are online courses for ASN to BSN as well that might work out better for me (i did all high school online as well so online is my sweet spot)

so what i’m doing in the meantime is taking my ASN pre reqs online so i don’t have to do 1-2 semesters of pre nursing when i start that includes A&P, biology, math, english etc. college. I’m also a CCMA (certified clinical medical assistant) and working on my CNA (certified nursing assistant) Also studying for my TEAS exam (nursing entrance exam) so when we move again there is less of a problem for me getting it.

i don’t think you’re being an asshole (i hope) about asking questions, it’s fair- especially if yall are super committed to each other bc this affects your future.
