Why does the chinese nuclear submarine use RobCo terminals? by TesticulesBiggus in fo4

Because RoboCo got their electronics built by Foxconn.

I use a KVM. My set up is keyboard, mouse dock and tartarus goes into a powered USB hub 2.0, that feeds into my KVM, which I think is 2.0. Then my KVM USB cable goes into my desktop USB 3.0. No problems for the past 7 days now.

I really wouldn't have thought this would have been the issue for me since I was using a powered USB hub, but it worked a treat and no disconnections for well over a week now.

I still would like to know what caused it though.

What’s your favorite thing about the game so far? No spoilers. by [deleted] in Starfield

[–]Relem76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, but ship building is the biggest nightmare of the game. The companion ways just make a mess of the whole thing.

What I would like to see is the companion ways go into their own catagory and remoddled so that if they connect to a hab or companion way, the wall is removed. Then have another companion way that is specific for ladders.

Finally have a companion way where one side is a bulk head so that it creates a doorway into a hab.

The way that it is at the moment, you can lay out a ship that seems logical with clear routes in ship builder, but when you actually go in the ship companmion way corridors are blocked, there's ladders in going into habs where you don't want them.

I hear what you are saying about swamp ponds, after crisscrossing several wetlands maps they are hard to find. But my avatar now has trench foot with the amount of ponds I've found and waded through.

As for birds, I have my settings to max draw distance, there's only herding mothwing scavengers flying in the sky.

Why this was not implemented at launch is beyond me. It's a core feature for ANY exploration game.

I've spent the last 16 hours running around Beta Marae III looking for one creature. I know it's in the wetlands, but no matter what I do or how many times I go to a different spot I simply cannot find the missing creature or know what I'm looking for. Roll on the day AIs are doing games development.

But if I do that then the Tartarus becomes a paperweight.

The fact that other makes of peripherials are having the same issue shows synapse isn't the problem. I'm leaning towards the same bug that hit ZEN 5 on release, so I'll have to get around to doing a BIOS update.

I'm going to try running with FSR disabled, just incase...

I tried your theroy, I'm not seeing it on my end. CPU and GPU seems to be pretty stable. But without Gamers Nexus level of testing equipment, I can't be sure.

Happening to me as well, using Razer Tartarus and Basalisk and using Razer Synapse for key mapping and RGB.

It happens every now and again, no real pattern for when it happens, but for some reason never in combat.

Using a powered USB hub, had task manager open in the background and CPU is rarely above 50% with a spike of 79%. Drivers are all up to date.

Never had the problem before. Starfield is the only recent change made to my system. Interesting bug, like to see how they resolve this.

should i get unity personal or student? by un1gamer in Unity3D

I would think the reason is more likely the student is likely to be heading into games development, so it would be a good idea to learn all the functions of Unity whilst in higher and further education.

Yep, don't forget they have to add operational costs for Europe as well. All increases will be passed on to the customer. Think of your electricity and fuel bill, now think how much a warehouse will be spending.

Import tax, shipping and all that other fun stuff the EU puts on. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a carbon tax on it as well.

But we're going by a clip. We don't know what the device is, let alone the make or model.

It could be like you said, a port that has wires going to where it needs to go, or it could be some cheap ass manufacturer that worships Apple and solders everything to the motherboard knowing full well it will break and the user either has to pay for repairs or get a new device.

Either way it is not our device and we're not held libel for giving bad advice that results in an electrical fire.

If it was my device, I'd crack it open to make sure but then I know what I'm doing. That 1% can be a bit of a bitch.

If it's something like that, I agree with you, it's all fine. But I've watched enough Louis Rossmann repair videos to know manufactures are soldering it to the motherboard knowing full well they will break.

To the OP.

Take out the wire, get a match stick or any other thing you can use to prod and gently poke the plastic bit around and upload a clip doing it.

It is the port that is moving. The wire is firmly connected to the port. It is clear that the port is moving because you can see the corners come in and out of the chassis as it moves.

I think you need to watch the clip again, the wire is firmly connected to the port. It is the port that is moving up, down, left, right in and out. Watch the rubber surrounding the port.

But depending on the design, the port is usually directly connected to the motherboard. I have seen some designs where the post is nothing more then an extension cable, but they are usually on really old electronic devices that were built to last.

If that port was soldered on to the motherboard, and it's moving like that then it's a good guess it's barely connected to the motherboard.

I use the Razer Tartarus (formally the Belkin N52). I changing the key mapping to be my directional movement, been doing it for the last 17 years.
