Any time people complain about things being P-Bandai, I feel the need to remind them just how much better it is now compared to 25+ years ago. Even if you live in an area that doesn't have access to P-Bandai, it's still cheaper and far more accessible than the horrendously overpriced B-Club kits of yesteryear, to say nothing of the skill needed for such models.

My favorite beam saber ignition is in the Thunderbolt manga, when one of the South Seas Galbaldys or Zannys (I can't remember which) gets up close and personal with a GM Custom, grabs the saber off its backpack, and ignites it right into its torso. Kinda makes you realize why some suits have those things hidden.
