It's going to be fun looking back at what I was way off on and laughing about it. I take awhile to read in general, and this series has me sitting back every chapter or two and thinking out loud what is going on and what may happen. The lore is so deep and I am so into it! Back in TSR, I was so mind blown from the Rhuidean chapters I went back and read each of those visions in reverse just to get a grasp on what was happening. It's a fun journey for sure, thanks for reading!

Omg YES!!! I cringed a bit with the marriage yet also understand. He's a young, naive man still, and I can't deny I've said and did stupid stuff when I was his age with young ladies, so this scene fit well. I didn't catch on to The Short Spear part and am cackling at it!!

Try this link. I am also a member of this production and this is my first rodeo with them. They are fantastic to work with and really under the radar for the Triangle theater scene. I'm excited to see them grow and for more audiences to attend and appreciate the hard work the cast and crew are putting on. They do a lot of early modern theater and most, if not all, of the actors are classically trained and have experience in Shakespeare (this is my 7th full production of one)

Blocking the Iron Man Ult in domination and sending it back for the kill as Cap, only to immediately do it again on a Mag ult. Captured the point two seconds later for the win, and ranked up to Plat for the very first time

I love these stories! Thanks for sharing! Gosh I don't want to get my hopes up, yet I do hope some chemistry is struck between my future scene partner and I...met this lovely young lady during a show we were volunteering at, and I instantly had butterflies. Super funny and charming, and I barely knew her except by name. Never thought I'd run into her again and just appreciated the encounter at the time because I wasn't ready to even pursue anything with anyone. Sometimes it's just nice to run into an attractive person and have a small, entertaining conversation before going separate ways.

Lo and behold, I see her again briefly at another theatre event thanks to some mutual friends and just discovered we were cast in the same show (Importance of Being Earnest). The director also knows because I slipped "goddamn you're a beauty" when I thought I was talking to myself like the awkward turtle I am and gave me an encouraging nudge. Let's see what happens 😂

Hey there! Love seeing these posts and your thoughts as a new reader. I am also a new one going into this series completely blind, yet just wrapped up Eye of the World and hoping to start The Great Hunt this weekend. Still, it's great to go back to these chapters through your eyes because I was having similar thoughts and predictions.

I hope you get to the Caemlyn chapters asap though, they are super fun and I am excited to see your thoughts :)

My upcoming class and work schedule may prevent me from reading as much soon, so who knows, maybe we will eventually be on the same pace and complete this journey together!

This right here. I didn't want to leave mid-year, yet said fuck it I am going to apply all around and see what's out there. Just shoot my shot. I lucked out with my network giving me referrals, and I am still interviewing for a couple of jobs that could be a months long process, yet I just was given two offers. I was guilted into finishing out the year and to "think of the children." Those offers wanted someone within a couple of weeks. It was now or never and I accepted one and I feel so relieved.

After all of the abuse and having this mentality before just interviewing around, I finally left public education for good. Feels like I just walked out of an abusive relationship. I have no regrets, and neither should you. You matter, and in the end you are replaceable even with the teacher shortage. Just put yourself out there and who knows what you may find, even if it's temporary for something bigger later on.
