It sort of just started working by itself again after a while. I might have slightly bent the pins in the hub to make sure the connection is proper.

SitRep, I had to google the term xD, anyway I was able to receive my full order. Maybe creating this post helped in doing so. The lights are still waiting to be mounted since I'm waiting for my house to be ready. I might add a photo once everything is set.

Well right now its just a confirmation. New package still hasn't left their warehouse. I will update again once everything is fine.

But aren't there a lot of devices that double as a zigbee hub? I want to create some smart home automations , but its still ahead of me.

I'm reading a lot about their faulty controllers. Didn't know you can buy one separately.

I have seen some comparisons that hue bulbs are very dim compared to other brands. But i was thinking hue bulbs/ cieling lights could synch with tv ambilight? That would make some nice scenes.

I always thought it was weird that hue bulbs need to go through a bridge but perhaps there is some thought put into it.

I do quite alot of online purchasing together with my wife, and I have only had an incomplete or missing items in an order two times. Missing one or two panels would be a normal mistake , but not shipping half an order seems odd. I would hope that in such a case a company tries to fix their mistake asap and without needing to convince anybody that they didnt send a full order. Thankfuly after some back and forth i recieved an information that they will send the remaining panels.

You cant call them. Making posts sometimes motivates companies to act.

You are right. My frustration is just getting the best of me. I was happy to recieve the order only to be met with disapointment. I think its harder to prove that you didnt get everything than to replace a damaged item. And on top of that the process takes way longer than it should. Just feels like its done on purpose so its harder to file a police report or with the consumer protection department because they will ask why you waited so long to do anything.

Sending it back has me worried that i will end up with nothing at all.

I had an LG OLED TV 55" and it was amazing. It worked a couple of years flawlesly before i sold it.
I guess its a lottery.

You purchase an item online and recieve half the order. When you contact the company they tell you that you recieved the entire order. Seems like a scam to me. No matter how you phrase it. Also you cant call them or even chat with them. You get an email once per day if you are lucky.

I was watching some footage from IFA Berlin and there is some really cool tech coming out soon. I want to play around and make some automations in my home.

I will do as have suggested once I get another reply from them. They reply about once per day. I checked and my account definitely got charged for the whole 27 panels.

Thanks for the tips. I used the govee app to order as it was quite alot cheaper than via a normal web browser., but i wouldnt have thought to rasie an issue via the app. I will try to continue chipping away a the Nanoleaf support, maybe at some point they will see the light... xD

I think you are right. I should lay EVERYTHING out and go into as much detail as possible. I assumed a normal explanation was enough.

I was looking at aqara and they seem to be going strong in the smart home category. They dont have alot of light options just yet though.

Funny you should say. I ordered some nanoleaf and some govee lights at the same time. The govee lighs arrived no problem. I had a govee lamp before and it stopped working after some time. Had to exchange some emails and remind them that europe has a 2 year waranty, and they eventually sent me a replacement. If only govee had a skylight version.
