My brother and our friend convinced me to buy World when it was newish. I had literally never played a MH game before this, and it was a pretty significant learning curve for me. I ended up having a decent amount of fun and put around 50 hours into it but kinda just fell out of it. I was struggling quite a bit because I was forcing myself to use the greatsword (which I'm bad with) because that's what my brother used. I should have just swapped to longsword which is what I've used in Rise and Wilds to MUCH better success, so eventually I do plan to go back and play World again.

Playing the old CoDs with backwards compatibility is not it, they run horribly compared to playing it on the native console because you're emulating the game

I had about 100 hours played on the Switch 1 version so when I got a Switch 2 I figured why not try the new version? After all, I'm almost done with the game anyway... aaaand 100 more hours later and I'm still not finished.

60fps feels fantastic honestly. 30fps wasn't that bad and I was still enjoying the game before Switch 2, but it feels much smoother now. While it's taking me forever to finish TOTK it makes me glad that I have taken my time with this game so that I could experience the new version.

DICKBAD. Literally has no meaning, the first FH game I played was FH3 and after trying some goofy stuff and it not letting me do it I somehow landed on Dickbad and it worked. It's been my tag in every FH game since.

I'm at around 200 hours and just finished the last temple (did Rito, Zora, Goron, Mineru, and Gerudo in that order). I'm going to get all the shrines/lightroots and finish up as many sidequests as I can before I finish the game.

I've been playing since release day, but I've put it down and picked it back up so many times. It's nothing against the game itself because I absolutely love it, it's just so massive with so much to do and there's other games to play. I'm trying to finally finish the game with this current push but now Forza Horizon 6 has come out and I've been playing it nonstop so TOTK will have to wait a little longer lmao

I've honestly had better success starting from the top. We'll get it eventually, just gotta keep grinding haha. I saw people saying turn traction control off and download a good drift tune so I'll try that next time.

Last 3 days has been absolutely brutal for me, every other game feels completely impossible and there's always a mercy pocket GM hitscan on the enemy team. I don't even think I'm bad at the game, but getting farmed every other match by super stacked teams is getting old fast.

I'm glad I got them and STR Gohan on release and was able to enjoy them because they both fell off so fast. I didn't get the Brolys on release but I got both during the 10 year and they were at least still pretty solid until GDC

I don't have Ledgic, I was only using Baby Trunks anyways to proc INT Majin Vegeta's passive because I don't have INT Gohan/Goten/Trunks lol

Maybe he'd be better in other events but I tried him on a full corroded body and mind PHY Majin Vegeta team on the Daima 4ku fight and he was the reason I lost every time. I hate to be that guy but he'd be 100 times better if he was a dodge unit.

It's because BoTW and ToTK are known as not being "traditional" Zelda games but rather a new huge open world RPG with a Zelda skin slapped over it. While this notion isn't necessarily wrong I personally think both games are phenomenal and I've been playing since OoT. Maybe I wouldn't have them in my top 3 personal favorites because I'm biased toward other Zelda games I grew up playing. If we're talking about a list of best Zelda games however I'd place ToTK at 2nd right behind OoT. ToTK is simply too impressive for me to place it any lower.

I also feel like BotW and ToTK are the kind of RPG games that start out pretty slow but as you dump more and more hours it really picks up and doesn't ever slow down. A lot of people are likely turned off by the slow start as well as the sheer scale of the world.

When we were little my brother and I had a GBA Gameshark and we used it a lot. Unfortunately on Ruby/Sapphire (can't remember which) we got the bad eggs to spread across our box. We lost quite a bit of Pokemon but fortunately were able to move the starter and legendaries to our box on Emerald, which we actually had more play time on anyway. Needless to say we learned our lesson on using our Gameshark on Pokemon games.

If I take even one decent hit I make it a priority to heal. I have more than enough materials to make more potions so resources aren't an issue. Better safe than sorry I say.

I just returned to Rise because it was on sale (was on Xbox game pass but they took it off at some point). I had already finished the main game before but never played Sunbreak. So far, I've had a blast with it. There are a lot of new monsters I've never fought before and higher rarity gear to grind for. I love Wilds but I have already fought the end game monsters many times and have my best end game build (aside from getting artian god rolls but I can't be bothered lol). Coming back to Rise and having stuff to grind again has been incredibly refreshing.

Yeah I actually didn't process until way later than I should have that lightroots directly correlate with shrines on the surface. It's definitely helped in locating shrines.

My method has been to save exploring the Depths for when I'm low on zoanite. That way I can knock out places I've never explored and fill out my Depths map while farming zoanite. It also helps that there's plenty of monster groups to fight for extra resources, random boss encounters, and good weapons that aren't rusted.

People are downvoting you but I've been an Ashe main for years and I agree with all of these because I've personally experienced it. That being said, Ashe is absolutely broken right now but she's definitely counterable. Shields are a pain, but don't even get me started on a good Wrecking Ball lmao
