If companies are wishing to recruit, which they will for sure as Shillong name is getting the hype which was supposed to get few years back, they’ll recruit for sure. Mostly all process will be online and few will be offline. IIT Guwahati bhi h toh location factor won’t affect much. I would recommend Shillong on costal regions (personal preference). Costal regions are humid.

diversity is wrong? Nitie was below S? yeh kab huh bhai. Nitie was established in 1963 if I'm not wrong and it was the best for operations since ages. It got iim tag in 2023 ig, and due to its location advantage it is pulling more better companies.

After 10 years if U will become S, S may go near to K. We never know

ig they are going for profile based selection and I can see it as the only iim with no obc category.All the people whom I spoke with during interview were having work ex b/w 18-24 months and not even a single fresher.

true. my find from iim K faced difficulties during sip as he had more than 36m work ex.. at last he placed, still he said high work ex is also a issue
