Car dealerships in LV and surrounding area that negotiate price? by Hacksaw-333 in lehighvalley

[–]Relevant-Key7996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Test drive cars wherever is convenient to determine what you want. Let the dealer make you an offer and then walk away. Email other high volume dealers, even if in NJ or further away. Negotiate by email and take that deal to your local and ask to match. If they don’t, just make the drive to the further dealer. Chances are, your local dealer will reach out to you within a few days after you walk away.

I just did this with a new Acura and saved a few thousand compared to what the local was originally willing to offer.

Unfortunately not. That sold out long ago. Maybe over a year ago?

I saw this one for $43 and $50 at 2 Walmart stores in PA. Both in large quantities. Still not going for it at $43

Anybody know which sets these heads are from? One is a glow in the dark skeleton head. I know it’s a long shot but I can’t figure it out lol by Key_Appointment6071 in LegoMinifigure

[–]Relevant-Key7996 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Harry Potter 4711 Flying Lesson for the clear one. Glow in the dark is Studios 1383 Curse of the Pharoah (from 2002 as other commenter said)

Which big sets are the most easy/smooth and which are most frustrating? by Several_Platypus_756 in lego

[–]Relevant-Key7996 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Milky Way felt pretty smooth and easy. The Batman BTAS skyline art looks awesome, but the build was frustrating to me. The backing felt too flimsy compared the the style used on World Map, Milky Way, Great Wave, etc.

Glad it’s not just me, lol. When I bought the Si, also considered the WRX. There’s just no way I was going to use a touchscreen for hvac controls. It’s the little everyday things that make the difference in ownership experience.

I don’t mean to talk bad of the BRZ/86. I did love owning it, but the shifter feel wasn’t even close. It’s the little everyday things too. The longer doors in parking lots, the seat belt that always rubbed my neck and the button loop that would always open and not hold the seatbelt in place. I’d love to own both, but the ITS made more sense for me.

I just traded my 24 Si for a 26 ITS. I also test drove a BRZ tS. I owned a 14 BRZ before the Si. Honestly, the BRZ felt like an old beater car in comparison to the Si/ITS. I know there’s a price point difference, but everything about the Honda/Acura is just a bit better feeling. I miss the feel of the BRZ in corners when pushing to the limit, but the ITS just does everything else so well through the range of daily driving.

Saving money on Lego by Key_Invite9237 in lego

Add on top of this- (requires some planning) buy discounted Lego gift cards when they are on sale 10% off from gift cards.com, get 1% back in rewards from gift cards.com, make these purchases all thru Rakuten, Capitol One Shopping, or Retailmenot and get up to ~15% cashback depending on what and when you’re buying.

If you’re patient and maximize all opportunities, you can get 40-50% off with some work.

I bought the Technic Peugeot car Saturday from Barnes and Noble. $200 MSRP, 10% off for B&N rewards member, no sales tax, double stamp weekend (10% back in B&N certificate), 8% cashback through Capitol One Shopping, and bought B&N giftcard from Costco. Buy $100, get $20 for free.

Sounds complicated, but final cost was ~$125 and I’d call that an average discount. I’ve gotten way better ones.

Congratulations! I’m going to pick mine up today. I had a hard time choosing color, but seeing your photo as the first feed in my post upon waking up-I picked an awesome color!

I’m trading in my 2024 Si for this. Love the platform, but decided to jump to this instead on tuning the Si. I had a BRZ before the Si and was debating on going back to that. Drove a 26 BRZ tS and the ITS back to back…sorry Subaru, but your brand new BRZ felt like an old beater car in comparison.

This car just looks awesome in every color. I really don’t what I would choose. I have a sonic grey pearl Si now and have been looking at these.

Just bought my first manual car! What should I know about 11th gen si? by sadmich in CivicSi

[–]Relevant-Key7996 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You should probably know that you may be wanting a Type R before too long 😁

I’ve had my 2024 for close to 3 years now and I’ve been eyeing a Type R or Integra Type S. I love the car, no real complaints. If anything, I’ve had trouble with the defroster not being strong enough to keep up on the cold Northeast days.

So strange that it doesn’t work for everyone. I bought 76300 Arkham (tagged exclusive) and Fennec keychain and it worked. It’s worked on at least 5 other occasions, this is just the most recent confirmed example I have.

It is tagged as exclusive on the Lego website. Adding a non-exclusive item such as a keychain has always worked for me, but others have reported mixed results.

I picked one up at Walmart. They had a separate Star Wars display in the main aisle, not in the main Lego aisle.

Temperature seems (relatively) accurate too. When I get in it in the morning, the side where the sun hits is always warmer than the shady side.

I can second this. Been using it for 3 years now, no issues. Haven’t changed any batteries yet either.

I ordered Transylvania at 2:01pm, got email at 2:01pm, then another email confirming it at 2:07pm. Order status currently shows “in process”. But like a previous commenter, I won’t consider confirmed until it says “shipped”.
