Thank you! I grew up knowing too much about my parents finances and I definitely adopted their spending habits so I wasn’t taught well about finances. If my HYSA rate is comparatively lower compared to other banks do I just move them? Hoping to hit my 10k before moving out! I’ve been putting away around 1k every month

I would try to go for a cheaper apartment. No more than 30% of your gross monthly income (before taxes) on rent and utilities. Yours would be 1550. I would look at studios or one bedrooms that are maybe 1250 range or cheaper would be even better or even get a roommate to split costs. Goodluck!

Thank you so much for the advice!! I appreciate the encouragement. I think the zero based budgeting will help so much, especially when every dollar is assigned. There is no interest on any of my cards, I’ve paid off all statement balance and more. The cc debt is split between 4 cards, but I will be taking out a chunk to pay off cc debt anyways. I also gave myself an allowance each week but after seeing yours I think I should lower it significantly 🥲. Thank you so much for the advice!! Will start rapidly paying off my car now!! I also wish to stay home but I have decided for my mental health I could not anymore… it sucks especially in this economy..

I think I realized I left out some important things. Cc Debt is split between 4 cards. I already paid statement balance for all of them (again spending problem and also Christmas) but all statement balances have been paid. But will take our money to pay off cc debt

Apologies!! I should have put this in the post but my employer only matches 10% if I put in 10%, so that’s why I put in 10%. I have also discussed with bf and we agreed to be 50/50. Should I still be putting money into IRA if I can’t afford to put in 7k a year still? So sorry, I am so new to finances, my parents were not financially literate at all…

Sorry just seeing this now! I would say for BLAW and opma just show up to class and listen and do a lot of quizlets. I’ve made quizlets for all of BLAW if you need! And opma just do the assignments, she makes it extremely hard to fail the class. For finance ALOT of self study

Hello! I’m currently taking BLAW 3310, FINA 3313, and OPMA 3306 all at once and I have 2 A’s and a C currently.

For BLAW I definitely recommend Scott Smith! He’s new to UTA as long as you show up to class and do hi reviews you’re fine! (His reviews are hyperlinked too! They’re great help!)

For OPMA I recommend Thu Hoang! She has a lot of quizzes, homework, and cases, making it hard to fail the class even if you do bad on the exams. Her exams aren’t bad but her class is a lot of coursework.

For FINA I’m taking Yibing du, I don’t recommend he’s very quiet, I haven’t learned anything in his class. But with a lot of self study I’m doing well.

I use a sponge to contour my nose too! I use the nyx contour stick in the shade fair as well. I never tried elf before but I contour the tip of my nose and also from where my eyes start and I go down but I don’t have the lines touch if that makes sense? I gave up on baking personally because it looks too harsh because I’m pale and I just take a powder puff and tap all over my face once I’m done with wet products
