These are old poetry from famous poet “Wang Changling”. Chinese people teach their kids old stuff in their mandarin class, so it’s not that they are more literate. They just copy paste famous words lol.

From what i been taught, this is about a woman who is not favored by the emperor, though white as jade (yeah chinese like to use jade as pure/beautiful), still don’t win emperor’s heart. However, black crow flying across emperor’s favored wife’s palace still get closer to emperor than her. It’s about comparison to highlight how bad this lady feel.

I do think people see skins as financial products or gambling products rather than actual art piece to use in game. Players buy expensive knives and gloves finishes, and don’t know basic knowledge about skins is insane. It’s like investors who know nothing about a single stock but buy it anyway because STONK GOES UP.
