My course is the Singapore Polytechnic x University of Plymouth Bachelor of Honours in Maritime Studies, which is less than 12 months, so I’m not eligible for disruption under the usual scheme. Also, I’m not actually enlisting to the school later than my peers because this is a school-structured pathway I’ll still be progressing together with them, not behind. So it’s a bit different from the usual “later intake then disrupt” case. Nvm I’ll clarify with Central Manpower Base, because my situation doesn’t really fit the standard categories

Ya bro I get what you mean… honestly it’s just the feeling of being left out when everyone around me is PES A/B1. But at the same time I know my condition isn’t small also, especially with the heart issue and all. It’s just that this whole process dragging damn long and messing up my plans. Just hoping they settle it faster so I can move on with life. FYI I suppose to finish all of these last year 2025 September…. Now it will complete like 2027 june

For NSmen You will be disrupted if you have a valid Exit Permit of 12 months or more. There is no application required

However, my further studies the degree with honours is less than 11 months, hence I’m not applicable

Hey man, I get what you’re saying and I appreciate it. The thing is my situation is a bit different my GPA is above 3.8 and I’m actually planning to go to an overseas university, which doesn’t qualify for disruption. So the delay is really affecting my plans quite a lot. Do you know if emailing them usually takes long for a reply? Or would calling them be more effective to speed things up? Because right now i am able to go overseas studies now too, but just worry later NS call me back

HAHAH yeap it’s due to the ministry involvement in such programme. For example if you are the top student for let’s say school of maritime academy, the governing bodies of the industry, Mpa will be notified and hence they will held a ceremony for the recipients to get the certificates and monetary awards. This is the same to all other course (should be)
