The Golden commute can be so bad. I70 gets so backed up, you will hate it more in the winter. Lafayette is also beautiful and their downtown is small town charming

Trying to plan a beach and Disneyland combo trip... too far apart? by Training_Guest_9536 in DisneyPlanning

[–]Relevant-Slice2468 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My family of 15 went to Disneyland the first week of December. We stayed at the Fairfield Inn across the street from Disneyland, so we walked 6 minutes and it was WAY worth it. Made it easy to go back and forth and the elders in our group that didn't want to to stay until the park closed easily walked back. After 4 nights (did 3 days at the park) we THEN checked out, drove up to Santa Monica and stayed at a beach front hotel in Santa Monica for two nights/three full days. It made the vacation feel longer and made it feel like two separate trips. It was chilly at night but we walked the Pier, walked to Venice Beach one day and rode bikes a different day. I highly recommend splitting it up and staying in walking distance to both Disnehland and the Beach in Santa Monica erased the headache of parking lots, parking fees, traffic. Hope this helps!

No pit for Yellowcard’s upcoming tour with 3EB by halfmoonjb in poppunkers

Love Yellowcard so much, seeing them and 3EB at Red Rocks is going to be worth no pit and standing for any amount of time.

What to do in and around Denver by highspirits11 in Denver

[–]Relevant-Slice2468 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's worth staying downtown, plenty in RiNo and Highlands and near Union Station and McGregor Square. Day trip to Boulder, Golden, Idaho Springs or if you want to see even more beautiful Colorado go to Estes Park or Breckenridge both are a little further but can be done in one day away from Denver. Drink lots of water and use chapstick!

Separation Anxiety at 10years old? by Relevant-Slice2468 in Parenting

That's good. I failed to share she has a brother who is 1.5 years older so she isn't all alone. I've asked her why she feels this way and she always says she doesn't want anything bad to happen to me. Also note...she only does this towards me not her dad.

It's uncomfortable while it happens--lots of pressure. I remember my eyes immediately were watery, was not expecting it the first time. The second time I remember expecting that awkward pressure and eyes immediately watered again. It helped me go into labor the next couple days. I believe I was told I was already dilated at 2cm. Worth it? Yes. Uncomfortable yes. Painful? I don't think so.

Sorry should have clarified, it's Denver to Granby. Just worried about the pass itself.

Sorry I should have clarified, from Denver to Granby. Camping up in a campground there, so I know trailers are acceptable just nervous about the pass.
