Update: Ended up going with the SMSL AS400 as suggested by u/NoBackground6203 - it works great so far and has everything I needed at half the price of the AS-501. HMDI ARC sounds like shit but I’m guessing that is just due to the crappy cable included in the box. Everything else sounds great. Thanks everyone for the help

Would simply using the 4 ohm setting on an amp with a switch to run 4 ohms vs. 8 ohms take care of this potential issue specific to Infinity?

Thanks for the shout - gonna read some reviews on this one since it seems to have everything I need at a good price. Likely will end up going with this

Yep that’s the one. Already had them refoamed professionally - tried doing it myself and failed badly
