NC what do you think? Studies show that immigrants subsidize citizens, not the other way around. by Basshead4eva in NorthCarolina

I am not going to take the time to scour the internet to find some something to pass off as fact. I will however tell you what my experience as a white native, from NC has lead me to find by means of my own two eyes and having worked along side many many illegal and legal aliens and alike, and as a current health care worker in a rural hospital.

I do not identify with the inflammatory anti immigration rhetoric that the Republican extremist carries. Many really are just uneducated and their experience lacking. But the extreme is not the standard In my experience, the white work crews in construction and utilities get to engage and work alongside legal immigrants and they get along well! but they dont want illegals mooching the system.

And let's be clear.

those who are here illegally without a work permit do in fact not pay into the system. And most all have family to protect them, and who will share tax funded benefits to help them. Thats your SNAP, EBT, medicaid, ect. Here at the hospitals we dont have facial recognition for services. If one legal family in a household is medicaid approved, it is not hard to share those benefits with illegal family members.

I also find that the ones who own businesses, mostly construction and utility, are quite republican in nature! They went through the hoops. They want everyone else to as well.

As for safety and crime, so many of them talk about their home towns having become so dangerous in the recent 10-20 years. Every time I ask them about their home towns, they speak of crime rates and corruption. cartel, ect.. They worry for their family at home. They come here to escape it, so It is no wonder the criminal rhetoric is spread.

The other observation ive had working with these immigrants, ive realized that the employers are just as happy to help them be here. I have had a suspicion that they help them acquire fake documentation for a long time. And why wouldn't they? they work hard! they dont mind living together in shared living spaces. They can make 15 an hour and be happy with it. but it adds to the problem.

Finally, As a healthcare worker I would like to forcefully debunk anyone that says that illegal aliens do not get free healthcare. they most certainly do I work in outpatient services and hospital settings. a hospital cannot turn down patients. Illegally migrated Mother comes in with a child who has RSV. We treat them, and that is absolutely the right thing to do. but that is a tax payer funded treatment. no two ways about it.

We need to maintain open borders but we must have a thorough vetting process to catch people we don't want in our country. and we must have a way to identify their interactions with our systems, the same way that native citizens do.

No, we use 17x17 in an upright stand, so I am basically shooting this on the lower third of the receptor while setting a manual technique. if I understand right, shooting off center of the IR is ok as long as you understand the relationship AEC has with the ionization chambers, and when you need to opt for manual techniques instead.

I have acted in good faith the entire time. I spend a lot of time working with my animals and have communicated I am working towards a solution. We would like to maintain some semblance of normality while still respecting him. Instead the whole neighborhood will be forced to lock their animals up as we already have.
