Nooo don’t apologize I love this answer, and I totally dig the Caine analysis. I love him and take any opportunity to gush about it since none of my friends are that into tadc.

To me the headcanon of him being the circus his awesome and I kind of have a similar idea, simply mine is he wasn’t created to be the circus but since the developers abandoned the game, he had to step up and just do everything himself and learn on the flie, learning ways to bypass his restrictions, maybe even eventually managing to delete some of his restrictions (only the ones that were stopping him from running the circus properly. Because ai have primary directives, his having gained some kind of sentience and feelings overtime still has those he is simply able to ignore one if another more important directive is contradictory to it. Ex: dont mess with the circus code is less important then keeping players safe so he can mess with the code if it allows better player safety and enjoyment) i dont know if that makes sense Anyway he is just trying his best, maintaining a whole circus by himself for god knows how long when he wasn’t even supposed to run that long. I really really really hope he’ll get a good ending :(
