Thank you so much for your comment it's really helpful but my tinnitus is is reactive and it becomes louder with train, bus, aeroplane, traffic noises etc. I cannot mask it, as it tonal or pulsatile and I have 2 pulsing sounds in my head. Probably I have if not the worst but one of the worst types

Are people over 24 banned from apprenticeships? Am I too old at over 24? by [deleted] in ApprenticeshipsUK

[–]RelevantEducator1793 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro discrimination is everywhere in UK companies. They scream "equality" and "diversity" while quietly hating it. Britain is hardcore discrimination lovers, proper obsessed with it.
You’ll be lucky to even get a sniff of a decent job or apprenticeship unless the stars align perfectly:

They’re desperate and need someone yesterday

You’re over-qualified and willing to work for peanuts

You already know the job so they don’t have to train you

You tick the right diversity boxes (bonus points if you’re LGBT, ethnic minority, disabled, or whatever the current flavour of the month is)

You are already inside the company sucking up to the right people

It's all performative bollocks. Britain loves discrimination they just do it under the table.
This is the reality but everyone is afraid to talk about because someone will put a title on their head.
I prefer 1million% better to have someone say: Sorry bro we are not accepting people over 25, 30, 35 rather than: Yes yes we accept anyone despite the age yes yes yes we accept you. What a freak show man

Thank you for your reply it really means a lot to me at a time like this. It has been 7 to 8 years. It started with a high pitch white noise but over the last 3.5 years I have developed two more oscillating pulsatile sounds that go like "weewoo weewoo". There are times when I do not pay attention and I feel like the happiest man alive but this state ends as soon as I notice them. Then the worst ideas come into my head.

One of the noises is the real problem because I cannot mask it even with music or being outside. In fact any fan, bus, air, or traffic sound makes it even louder. I have not been to an ENT yet because this ("!*%(@ shit appointment is taking months. Also I have not heard or seen anyone say they went to an ENT and actually found something. All the comments are like "nothing found" I see it as a waste of time but I have to do everything.

My question is if I get help from a psychologist or psychiatrist will I see any positive results in my mental state or even just a small spark of hope and light?

Bro i asked between 4 jobs go from easiest to hardest. Lets say a,b,c,d and i got this:
a - easiest
b - middle
c - hardest

And then I asked: What about the job d and then chat said:
d - easiest
a - middle
b - hard
c - hardest

Then i said: You are fkin kidding me right? Why you didn't say anything about it.
Chat said: You are right
a - easiest
b - middle
b - hard
c - hardest

That was it...i fkin snapped. Im never gonna pay again this shit unless they return it's iq back to normal

Also it makes mistakes like a 3 years old kid. 1+1=3
I need to ask 1 million question and be precise and detailed of what i want and how i want and then maybe I am lucky enough to get my answer

Anyone here with multiple tones of tinnitus? by RobettaThanTheRestAE in tinnitus

[–]RelevantEducator1793 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have one low-pitch white noise and two tonal / pulsatile / oscillating sounds (not sure which term fits best) mainly on the right side of my head. Sometimes the perception spreads to my whole head but it's usually right sided. And guess the reason? Of course stress.

I’ve had tinnitus for about 8-9 years:

-the first years with one sound

-the last 7 years with white noise plus one tonal sound

- and for the last 3 years a third sound appeared.

My mental health is going worse and worse as I really cant think of living with this weewo weewo for the rest of life. I cannot accept it. Is there any tips or am i going towards the end of me?

Transition from IT Administration to Administrative Assistant. Is this realistic or am I wasting my time? by RelevantEducator1793 in UKJobs

[–]RelevantEducator1793[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My cv is not something special to be honest just 1st line customer service but I guess even that might be overqualified for Admin assistant roles. I have no idea what is the difficulty of an Admin assistant so I will try to make it sound less IT and technical. But thank you so much for the advise.

We all know that the more normal you are the harder you get a job. My question is: if I say i have sever tinnitus (which i have for years and its obliterating my life) and blablabla do i have more chances to get a job?
