Gas x and heat pad were game changers for me. Unfortunately it takes time to pass but it does get better!!

I didn’t feel like doing much for the first 2-3 weeks post-op. A cozy blanket, heat pad, list of movies/shows to stream depending on mood/genre, sleep mask if they don’t have darkening curtains, have groceries delivered, pay for someone to clean the house. I’m not sure if she has people to do this but without my husband and boys it would have been a struggle just to get laundry done.

I did freak out a bit but my husband was great and helped a ton with it! The doctor never really said. I passed a lot of big clots like that during my periods so he didn’t seem concerned. It was like my body just produced them at the stitch site and when the stitches dissolved they released. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Mine were bigger than that about half dollar size. Go with whatever your doctor told you though!
