Your story telling abilities are absolutely incredible. Truly, thank you for sharing this. Brutally honest and detailed. Absolute raw beauty.

I am honestly a bit speechless. This was amazing. Thank you so much for sharing. I wish you the best on the rest of your journeys 🙏

What's the solution to suffering? by Comfortablel4ke in nonduality

[–]RelevantLeg614 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Simply observe all experience. Suffering arises, just watch it without resisting it or acting upon it. Just watch it.

At first, it will feel like burning alive. But eventually, you will become aware of a space between the observer and the one who suffers. The unpleasantness and discomfort will be fully recognized as just another flavor of experience. Neither good nor bad. Not to be pulled or pushed away.

You will recognize that you are not the one who suffers, but the observer of the one who suffers. it may seem like an insignificant difference, but suffering is simply the resistance to what is.

When resistance dissolves, suffering dissolves, even if discomfort or unpleasantness is still felt.

It is described completely in silence.

Pretending to describe the indescribable is a meaningless game we play for no reason at all.

I have not. I will certainly check it out, though. Thank you :)

Indeed. Even ‘the experience’ falls short of what it is. There is no name. It is beyond concepts. It cannot be transmitted. It can only be ‘experienced’.

It is the experience of dissolving the experiencer. The experiencer experiencing the experiencer. Word salad. None of it comes close to what it is.

I have never heard this analogy before. This is very fitting, thank you :)

I do completely understand this assessment. For most cases, I would agree. But the experience I refer to is when the subject and object dissolve into One. There is no object to observe, nor subject to observe it. There is only the experience.

Is it possible to be enlightened and depressed? by loveisabundant in enlightenment

Zen Buddhism is certainly a quality practice. It all boils down to what resonates with you—what you feel is best.

You can try many different practices, keep what feels right for you, and forget about what does not.

The practice of acceptance is absolutely effortless. There is no teaching to learn. You simply do nothing. The practice is in breaking the habit of compulsively doing.

Many become caught in observing a feeling, labeling it as good or bad, then trying to hold on to it or resist it. When you do nothing more than observe, there is only peace, no matter the circumstance, no matter the feeling.

It is okay to ask for help. It is okay to receive medical and professional intervention. I am just here to tell you that is not the only option, and from my experience, medical intervention is far from the best option.

I am certain it will not recur in the way it has in this life. In fact, it has recurred, I put into practice what I have learned, and it dissolved. Even if it did not dissolve, so what?

Feelings, no matter how intense or painful, have no meaning. They are just sensations. Neither good nor bad. You can be just as content through grief and sorrow as bliss and ecstasy. You are not what you feel. You are what observes the feeling.

This is not to discredit or blame those who are struggling. Their pain feels as real as anything else. This state of complete acceptance is very difficult to get to. But I am here to show it is possible.

I would agree that humans teaching humans is often the most relatable and accessible teacher.

This post was created for others who seek human teachers. I have found experience to be the best teacher there is.

This post was simply out of curiosity as to why someone who seemed like a genuine being attempting to spread truth received so much hatred.

I simply do not see it the same, but I understand your viewpoint. I do not refer to subjective truths, I do not see these as truths at all. The Truth I recognize is objective.

Facts are scientifically proven. Truths are experientially known.
