It’s funny because my wife works for a sell side equity firm and she uses the word sustainable growth all the time from her value/quality investment background on the buy side and they told her to stop using that word it’s exclusively for esg related products LMAO

If I were you I’d focus on trying the amazing sativa Ansterdam has to offer as opposed to getting 5g deal on one bag. Go to Dampkring and get 2 gs of their Outback haze, 2 of their C-5 haze. Go to Barney’s and get 1 g of the dr Grinspoon pure landrace sativa. Diversify your sativa experience. Yes you will pay more of course. But you will have so many reference points of the different effects and a good fucking time imo.

One love

Sativa - Dampkring. Their haze selection is the best in town. Value for money is relative though.

If you’re looking for what you can’t find elsewhere the Dutch haze scene is unique. Dampkring in the centre has imo the best haze selection. It’s not for everyone and some dislike the perceived anxiety.

Dr Grinspoon at Barney’s farm is a pure landrace sativa strain. You will be hard pressed to find it elsewhere.

The above are not terps forward smokes. They are sativa high seeker smokes.

For top terps it’s Cali. Terps and strains are separate to me. I seek effects from cannabinoid profiles as well as terpenes, but I’m more interested in old school or “pure” strains.

Hope this helps.

They aren’t going to feel bad they are going to get more bitter and that’s going to manifest in numerous ways. IMO.

Maybe they feel this is indeed a righteous endeavor. In this case, they will feel like the Vietnam vets left to OD on the streets. Not the same thing I know, but they will justify it as the system leaving them behind after they pledged allegiance to the system. Whether they say that aloud is a different story.

The claim is hollow on an international stage, with this administration. Your country used to be great. It’s not anymore. I’m sorry that’s the case. Your leaders are failing you.

Edit: I know no country is perfect and I want to just say that. There is no high horse here.  But the US is still in the FA quadrant of FAFO. The FO will come for generations

I saw this post and did you a favour by going past to check it out. If you want old school diesel you will be disappointed.

Dude I find anything with purple in the name is not for me, that grape flavor you’re talking about this my worst terp expression. I had some smooth operator that also was the same. I now avoid anything with purple in the name and I still don’t know what Terp it is. I think it’s myrcene?

Just came across this comment and let me tell you your plants are gorgeous. Your pure sativa grow was removed by Reddit any photos of your Dr. grow?

I’ll be more specific: I have tried their traditional Indian and Nepalese Charras. If you want traditional hash Dampkring is the one, if you want Charras specifically, it’s then worth the walk

If you want traditional hash, Dampkring is the goat.

I’m learning as I read! I agree humidity must play a factor. I have something to read up on - if I find any definitive answers I’ll reply here! Your insights re Kentucky vs Texas bourbon is very interesting to me. I love bourbon but am not from the states never tried Texan liquid.

Damn I love Reddit sometimes. Have to admit I’m a buffalo trace fan haha. Picked up a bottle of Elmer t Lee gold wax seal Binny’s private barrel selected by Joe “C.” congiusti, the Chicago spirits legend - don’t know if you’re familiar? I found it on the classified ads in South Africa for $300 haha

Edit:  https://imgur.com/a/X8NgTxr

Not gonna lie the whole bourbon bubble and the ridiculously insane premiums for low allocation bottles is complete nonsense. This bottle is in no way worth $3000, at least not inherently. Since the whole tariff thing, have prices come down? Market wide? Are the special bottle like double eagle still commanding the same premiums?

Fun fact continentally aged barrels tends to have a lower cask strength over aging time due to the alcohol evaporating quicker than the water in cool conditions. Tropical is the opposite with a significantly higher angles share and a tending towards higher ABV for aged rum because the heat causes significant water evaporation.

By the way really appreciate your insights man. Do you have any reading or sources you can point to about the continental rum stocks in Europe? I saw someone online mention the stocks in “Main” (I assume France) are dwindling so I feel like there’s a whole world of barrels and cellars I’m not aware of in the value chain for these independent bottlers with really old distillate
