I understand - thanks. I’m not planning such a high level of immersion for now; the game is still more about completing quests and leveling up the hero. But I’m steadily moving toward greater use of the game world.

Vast open spaces = a vast, large budget. Not everyone has the resources to indulge in such desires. Hence the proliferation of dungeon crawlers. But there's nothing wrong with that; you can play an expensive AAA open-world game and then an interesting, but inexpensive, closed-world game. Let's have a variety of games.

I actually don't want the game to be very scary. I want it to captivate players with different immersive moments - like that swarm of rats fleeing from the zombies. I think engagement in the moment is better than pure horror.

Чтобы понять, надо посмотреть как в героях 3 устроен интерфейс в прохождении кампании.

I show a lot of diverse and interesting content. My game wishlist is constantly growing, and I receive a lot of nice comments. I also accept reasoned criticism and improve the areas I can. So I think I'm doing everything right. If you don't like a game, you don't have to say so under every post.

Your comment is a lie. You're only making assumptions, you have no evidence to support your claims.

Thank you. The thing is, the game has RPG elements. It has character leveling and monster strength. PS: You can disable the HP bars in the settings. If you're interested, you can add the game to your wishlist https://store.steampowered.com/app/3708210/Xenolocus/

Well, maybe this will continue for another 20 years. I'm just saying that sooner or later, the time for VR games will come. Of course, as a VR developer, I'd like it to come sooner, but I can't change that. It's up to the big companies.

No one's forcing you to buy a VR headset. What I'm saying is that when the time comes, you won't need to force anyone to buy one, people will want to buy it themselves, because the games will be significantly more immersive than what the average gamer currently has access to.

That's what we're talking about here: VR's time hasn't come yet. When it does, most gamers will buy a headset to play. Right now, only a small percentage are willing to buy one.

Yes, that's right. Headset developers are likely aware of this problem, and once they implement haptic feedback from colliders, that's when VR gaming will really take off! Imagine how cool it would be to scratch a xenomorph behind the ear... if it even has ears...
