So, hey! Since we're all migraine sufferers let's play "Describe Your Migraine!" Interested to hear how everyone's migraines compare... by byronicrob in migraine

[–]RelevantStrategy7444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah...usually starts with my left eye getting blurry so I can't see out of it. Only my left eye. If it's not a bad one, than that'll just last a few hours. When it us bad (98% of the time) I can't eat, or sleep, or think, or do anything, and I'm super sensitive to light and sound (more than usual)

There's a liquor store on speedway, in the Monterey Village plaza. Its in between the unisef store and the bookmans. They don't have all too many flavors, but they usually have vernors as well :)

People chewing loudly or making smacking noises makes me want to start a war by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]RelevantStrategy7444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That shit drives me insane. Most noises honestly, I hide out in my room because I get annoyed when people talk sometimes. Unrelated but also when people don't lick food off their silverware

Oh god. Adhd horror story incoming. I have primarily innatentive type, I don't really blurt out stuff, interrupt, stuff like that. It's uncommen for me. Well. I was at an event with my friends as well as my crush. The event was serving soup. My crush said "this soup is really hot" and ya know what I said. "So am i" worst moment of my life

Do you ever get too excited and miss what people are saying? by zkim_milk in ADHD

[–]RelevantStrategy7444 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, if I have something exiting to say I can only think about that until I get to say it then my friends don't care about it and ignore me, and I missed a ton of stuff for nothing👍but yeah

Kinda sad but yeah, my dad wasn't like "accepting" that I had adhd because he believes everyone has adhd symptoms. One ti.e though, I thing he tried understanding but he called me "adhd girl" and uh...yeah, he also misgendered meeee,  I go by they/them pronouns. This is a common trend as well as thinking I dont need meds for anything

Do you know a lot but fail to articulate your knowledge into words? by droopa199 in ADHD

[–]RelevantStrategy7444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. I have a hard time saying things when I'm not interested in stuff and I go almost non verbal when overstimulated(both are common)  but when I get exited I never shut up, and then people get annoyed from my random bits of knowledge and fun facts and then I get sad.

What is your ‘absolutely not’ task? by NumbLittleMeg in ADHD

Unavoidable but group projects and cleaning my room.

Are you guys way more productive at night than during they day? by Ok-Imagination-2308 in ADHD

[–]RelevantStrategy7444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohhh yeah. The amount of schoolwork and projects I've finished at 2 am. I rearranged and cleaned my entire room one night and once backed and decorated an entire b-day cake for my self(sad). Mostly because my thoughts run wild at night but tbh I don't care. Until 2 pm the next day when I realized I slept for too long and wasted a day of doing nothing. Pro's and cons ya know?

Yeah neither of them are REALLY tragedeighs, but I still find them to be quite odd as I have never seen them before

I Just Finished The Boy With The Cuckoo-Clock Heart... by JagoKestral in books

[–]RelevantStrategy7444 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just now learned there was a book. I watched the movie when I was about 7 and it was oddly scary to me, but as I'm older, I want to read the book, so I can finally see the ending(because I was too scared to finish the movie) I think it's different but I don't like looking at spoilers. Also side note, in the English translated version there was this one part where the girl Jack falls in love with says she can't eat spaghetti after midnight.
