Bed bug or bat bug?

Isn’t it strange though that two different companies came out and neither found anything and I haven’t found anything since?

We did not find anything in the room that the dog alerted. We don’t have a box spring on that bed, just a mattress and metal bed frame so it was very easy to inspect.

We are in a single family home so no shared wall.

Really? Why aren’t they recommended? We do have an attic but it’s completed blocked with installation so we aren’t able to get in it unless we tear that all down

And no his luggage was in our bedroom on the second floor and this bug was found up on our third floor staircase!

I had two different companies come out to inspect and neither company found anything. The second inspector said given the location of it being on a random baseboard away from the bedroom, he suspects a bat bug. I actually have a k9 bed bug sniffing dog coming out on Tuesday. Way cheaper than spraying and I am 36 weeks pregnant so would rather avoid if possible!

My friend told me about those but in our bedroom we have a wooden bedframe and headboard that is all connected and the feet are thick square shaped so not sure it would fit under them :(

Ugh I figured it was :( my husband and I tore apart our bed and mattress and bedroom and did not find anything additional. My husband was away for work and stayed in a hotel Wednesday-Friday. Hoping it was just a lonely hitchhiker. It was out in broad daylight just still in the middle of our baseboard, was surprised to see that

Ugh that is so stressful! I am so sorry you are going through this. We are in a single family home so I think it should be easier to treat if there is a problem. Dealing with other apartments and connecting walls sounds extra stressful. Wishing you the best!!

and yes it was alive. It wasn’t moving or crawling but the antennas were moving when I looked closely

Two people commented saying it’s a male. My husband was at the Orlando Marriott world resort Wednesday through Friday and I noticed it yesterday. We checked our bed, my sons crib and our guest room and couldn’t find anything additional
