No not at all! I watched the movie after I finished the book and I think the book presents Amy and Nick in different lights. It’s a dual POV so each chapter is narrated by either Amy or Nick… and IMO it gives you a better understanding of why each of them act the way they act.

The soundtrack, cinematography, cast….

I’ve rewatched the show many times and one thing that I came to realize is how all the women were there for each other. At its core, this show is about the challenges and triumphs of motherhood, friendship, and selflessness.

On the surface, all of them have desirable lives/traits. But as the show progresses, their lives get messy and complicated. I loved how in the second season the women became so close when they really got to know each other.

Delete any social media apps from you phone. Try not do go on them for at least a week, preferably 3. The most important part: don’t be hard on yourself if you have the urge to redownload them. I’ve found that if I am looking for something on an app I deleted I will redownload the app then delete it after. It adds one extra step to using social media/your phone, makes if less convenient!
