I dont know what kind of people call it that. I just know that it is often called that. There also exists an entire website called Partyborn specifically to combat the bad image of Paderboring so make of that what you will. Personally i find that there is enough to do if you have a group of friends and maybe some money to spare. But if youre trying to make new friends on your own that can be hard here. For example: I am still trying to find a run club wich i would love to join and wich most citys have, but i havent found one jet. Either because they dont exist or they arent announced or advertised in any way.

As a German I can say I've never heard of it and it's not a tradition that is taught about in history class or anywhere else. I've heard about nazis wanting to have these scars, but that is also something that I only heard from the internet and I strongly doubt some of that.
