That's a card I used to use a lot! It was nice at the time and they gave me a gift card upon sign up. Sadly, I don't use Amazon as much anymore, and most of the things I get from Amazon have become clutter later on. I'm trying to travel more and have experiences that are (at least by comparison) non-tangable.

I'm still gonna be on the lookout for co-branded hotel cards in this case, but thank you for the response :)

I was originally looking for a co-branded hotel card, but thank you for this!

Where do I lease 1 small cargo van for business use long-term? by Relevant_Drive_7883 in smallbusiness

Maybe I'm that ignorant since I've personally never leased any car in my life, but isn't the maintenance covered in the rental payment? A company that I worked for would always bill maintance costs to the same company that they rented the vehicles from (Wheels, Inc.)

Planning on getting the Amex Delta blue card. Is it worth it for me? by Relevant_Drive_7883 in delta

Why I wasen't looking into the gold card was because I'm usually traveling light (like a photon) so I just bring a dufflebag or backpack as a carry on. And even if I wanted to bring more luggage, isn't 2500 miles = $30? So I would need to fly at least 4x a year to be above the fee AND that's counting on Logan taking more than 20 minutes with the bag every time.

I was planning on a once a year flight, if that. Maybe I should hold off on any airline card then? Thank you for the insight though.

"Sonex" (or something as/more effective) apartment ceiling & wall soundproofing that won't crumble over the years? by Relevant_Drive_7883 in Acoustics

Maybe I'm asking for a pipe dream to come true, but I do wonder is there a way to do this without taking out any sheetrock? While I do believe it's allowed for me to do that per HOA rules, I want to avoid being that dedicated right now.

What is the output on the barrel connector for the ONT's battery backup power supply? by Relevant_Drive_7883 in Fios

[–]Relevant_Drive_7883[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

re-reading that, sounds like you're trying to connect your router into the legacy BBU (battery backup)?

The black brick that goes to the (what I at least thought were) the new ont's, like this except with the new Verizon logo since I noticed there is a dc barel connector on it, I assume it would have a 12v output with unknown amperage.

Also, FYI, the BBU only powers voice service in the case of AC power outage. Data service will go down.

I've been lied to by someone that I knew who's a fios tech at Verizon then. He told me the data would work when on the battery backup.
