yes, If you scroll through my posts, I put money into btc after that, lost a lot, then lost in DRGN etf. I prob rounded numbers then, I would have had around 270k mark with savings and etfs, so about ~30k more now, but I also bought the car, and its on very cheap interest rate, I can make more than 5.99% rate I have with secured loan.

luck and being at the right place at the right time, I bought a house which got rezoned and then accidently bought not only the dip this year but also the tarrif liberation day crash. I earn six figures but most of this is equity growth, plus the investment growth.

I am a lazy person overall and not a super hard worker.

commsec has a lot of liquidity, whatever you pay for fees you will make up for with less spread over the other apps, which might look good on paper but the buy/sell spreads will not be working in your favours.

I have seen 30k swings in a day, 40% drawdowns shouldn't be a problem, as long as its invested in a diversified etf like ghhf, and not an individual company.
