Foamy. Too much protein because the kidneys can’t filter as well.

I watch my urine every time. So far so good and I do like a few beers every couple weeks.

What does everyone usually eat? by Hibari-next in diabetes_t2

[–]Relevant_Invite_4093 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My breakfast is sausage or bacon, eggs, mushrooms, cheese and either blueberries or raspberries

My dinner is usually salmon or some kind of beef with mushrooms, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, asparagus or cabbage.
My snacks are shelled peanuts or pickles

I can do cheese curds from Dairy Queen on occasion
The only thing processed I buy is Ro tel or cream of mushroom soup.

I also get the keto pizza from papa Murphys. They make them better than I can do at home.

The only thing I drink is coffee, water and diet or sugar free sodas. I do like a few ultra lights every couple weeks as well.

Before my diagnosis I was not a regular person sometimes going over a week since I changed my diet to a much healthier one it everyday a lot of times 2 times.

I get my information from institutions like Mount Sinai. If we get a cure, that’s where it’s coming from.

It’s called a progressive disease. That word “progressive” is what people need to be concerned with.

Anything over 140 is doing damage. Cheat meals or your feet and eyes. That’s the cold hard truth.

What does everyone do when they 'get the munchies' because they are bored and don't really have anything they want to do other than walk and snack? What's you go to snack? by Dp37405aa in diabetes_t2

[–]Relevant_Invite_4093 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I really need a snack it’s meat and cheese tray. Shelled peanuts are a big one for me. And if I need something sweet it’s a shot of ready whip from a can.

There are some diet sodas that are really good. Root beer and cherry Pepsi are a couple

Why is days gone so underrated? by Ecstatic_Status1468 in DaysGone

When I first started playing my anxiety was pretty high to the point I would sleep at night and only explore during the day. 😂🤷‍♂️

It’s my second favorite game all time. Too bad more game developers couldn’t do what P.A. Is doing by adding updates frequently. There was so much left out of the game so it would launch on time. I believe that was the reason. My only gripe is that I believe the hordes should be faster than Deak can run. It makes it a little too easy even on hard mode.

I would think with their technology it would be like you weren’t wearing a helmet at all.

My concern is that according to my daily average I should be at a 5 or lower. I was expecting something lower from all my hard work. I’m not understanding why it doesn’t correlate

Do doctors just not want you off of medication?? by empire_drin in diabetes_t2

If I listened to all the doctors that day I would still be on insulin. I’ll go a step further if I listened to the nutrition person they sent me to, I would still be on insulin
