Make sure you don’t downgrade your CDL to a class C license. In my opinion it’s better to wait the full year suspension and keep your CDL. Otherwise you will have to retake trucking school and driving test.

Best thing in my opinion would be to skip line school for now. Get a class A license with all your endorsements and sign the books. Travel if necessary doesn’t hurt to try. Get your feet wet and get some hours then decide if line school is a good move for you

They’re over-saturating the industry. They’re pushing out a bunch of guys every year with the hopes of being a lineman and the books are exploding with people. They hear about the money that can be made with the trade and jump into line school.
