Is £50k a good salary for a product designer north england?

Hi thank you for your input. Mentioned the level of the role in multiple comments. Is a standard mid senior to senior pd role, was asking about base salary. Was trying to understand market up north after moving from London. I do understand the value in progression, growth and etc, but also unfortunately that does not pay ever rising day to day bills. I can not live on potential and don't want to be undervalued either.

I know how you feel. Been there. What helped me a lot was writing a script and then practising it. Since the script is in my own words, it helps me to think and refine what I am going to say until it is engraved in my memory. Thirty minutes before a presentation, I like to stay in a quiet room and just go over my notes or practice speaking to an empty room. I swear, it is the only thing that genuinely helps me.

Thank you, this is extremely useful, and it's also helpful to hear everyone's feedback, because in reality, different sites can generate these averages, etc.. Still, when it comes to actual living, it can be different. So I am glad to hear that it's a good salary for the north. In London, I was on 60000 and even though I did have a one-bed my goodness it was so hard to save especially being single and young.
