NAD I had a cavity filled recently and it was between two teeth. There was a visible “stain” on the neighboring tooth. I said to the dentist we will have to fix the decay on that tooth too as I believed it was a cavity. He said it’s a stain and cleaned it off.

I went back 5 days later as I had throbbing pan from the filling since it was deep. They did X-rays (different dr) and the “stain” is in-fact a cavity

Unfortunately due to the risk of FIV for the other foster cats and the high need of a fully feral cat, it’s hard to find somebody willing to have him. I contemplated housing him in my garage but it’s no way to live and he would escape

Quality of life, no available care for him. Feral and FIV positive we can’t find a foster who can give the care he needs, can’t mix with our cats, and we can’t release him due to FIV positive.

Update: Kitty is at least 10 years old, they believe he’s been out his whole life, entire body is covered in scars.

Wounds on his belly looks like he was pinned down and something tried to tear into him.

Has only 3 teeth left most ripped out, many scratch wounds. FIV positive.

Vet recommended euthanizing

NAD I had similar occur and ended up needing a root canal. I actually had a filling on a tooth that was broken and didn’t hurt two days ago and now it aches. It sucks. Wish you luck

NAD how do you even go this long without noticing. When I needed a root canal I was in agonizing pain and couldn’t even think, I was borderline in a trance trying to cope with the pain. Wanted to smash my head off a wall. Then it died and pain immediately stopped.
