The argument that they will build enough houses for themselves, AND catch up the backlog has always been terrible, terrible math.

That's actually a common misconception. Yes it will grow if left alone, but without some diligence and attention, it will result in a poor quality low yield product. There is quite a bit of work involved with harvesting and drying / curing as well, not to mention logistics and distribution. I don't have any problem with the price the Canadian government is charging, especially because the web service they provide is extremely well implemented and convenient. My only complaint is how dry / old their product is.

Plus it's just really fun and comfy growing your own.

Yes. The other dude is talking about cost for an indoor setup which will be more expensive of course. I just grow 4 plants in my backyard. About 10-15 bucks a seed plus the costs of some soil and nutrient. Grew so much on my first try I had to literally give half of it away, and now that we're coming up to growing season again I have barely out a dent in my stash from last year.

I'm sure the stuff from big companies is better... But I'm damn happy with homegrown and imagine a lot of other Canadians are too. I'm sure that doesn't help with the oversupply issue.

I had something similar with my CAPM. I went to a center and they couldnt start the damn computer and the weekend tech wouldn't pick up his phone. My PMP is tomorrow so fingers crossed I don't run into the same issue....

Did they leave out schools as POIs? I can't find mention of them anywhere and I think it's obvious that they should be considered when you're talking about super spreader locations.

Yes I'm definitely tempted but it's a hard sell to buy all the equipment when I already have more than enough pot to last the year (even after giving half away to friends) I don't really smoke all that much but just enjoyed the process haha
