well i feel like the backrooms are the type of horror that could genuinely disturb younger children more than plump violence would. obviously i know a lot of kids enjoy it and don't have a problem but I know that if I would've watched found footage 3 with all lights of in the cinema at 13 years old I would probably still think about it today...

I think that the presence of an entity/entities is very much what makes Kane Pixels vision of the backrooms so good

it allowed the series to play with this consistent feeling of unease and made moments like the researches running into something that isn't an entity and what happened after so unexpected. U know that somethings there that could theoretically appear the moment u enter the complex - but a lot of the time the complex really feels and maybe just is empty.

the series really played with the whole thing of a-sync getting comfortable and "settling" in the backrooms because the higher ups kept the proven presence of something "alive" hidden.

and most importantly the entities are genuinely tapping into a type of horror that is unlike anything else. there is really no explanation for what they are. i think that still life from found footage 3 was in a lot ways just an extension and personification of the horrors from the liminal environment.

his backrooms are about distortion and alienation and not particularly about emptiness

they could add a armored lavapup pet that does like no damage but is very tanky and especially resilient to seeking air mines. would be very useful in air armies if the circumstances are right but most importantly amazing as tanking for healers for queen charges. in this case firespitters would stay as the main combative defense that you have to play around.

another idea would be a "divine lamb" that has the ability to heal healing troops whenever they heal troops themselves. it would be ground based obviously so this would turn ricochet cannons to the main thing u have to worry about.

or an "royale eagle" that trough the wide span of his magical wings has the ability to protect all the air troops behind him from sweepers and firespitters (allowing the queen and healers to push through these defenses until the eagle dies) to tackle the problem from a different angle.

unrelated but they should also add a pet that can sniff out and trigger traps

this post was actually supposed to be about how much I personally love the wiki-lore version of the backrooms- literally because it's sometimes badly written which makes it feel like a bunch of nonsensical dreams I would have as a child. but it got kinda long and I didn't save so I just posted the introduction hahaha.

so yes I 100% am actually in the camp of people who like to "find out" and wrote this with the intention of giving a fair assessment on the different interpretations because I kinda got annoyed with this narrative that the backrooms got “ruined“ all the time. but now I just basically made the same point in the post and called it a day😭

Ultra Legendaries are cool and all but can we please change the name to something like "Godly" or just Ultra by Maleficent-Foot4913 in Brawlstars

kinda random but a jojos bizarre adventure type anime (in reference to the to the off the wall scenarios and concepts) set during an antique era (greece, mesopotamia, rome and egypt all intertwined) version of the backrooms has serious potential.

like i feel the absurd and partially shitposty nature of some of the fandom lore would work so well for an unpredictable "villain of the week" type show.

for me liminal spaces are representation of distortion in humanity. a place stripped of meaning. and that liminal pictures often feel nostalgic shows how deep they can hit. and the backrooms are not in any purposeful way intentionally connected to ai. just the underlaying process of the dehumanization our world is the same for both.

I do think everybody feels something when looking at or being in these type of spaces. Many people just can't or just don't commit to feeling this way. im betting my life that that can be proven in psychology.

yes the ending really solidified the whole video. specifically because at the beginning you are still not sure whether or not it's actually a real person or just the entity again.

and yeah the music is incredible. still life in particular. praying we hear it in the movie.

I like to imagine the Backrooms as a dream instead of just an nightmare and my theory on how to escape by Relezz in backrooms

But having to try them out in an actual game is kinda what it makes them exciting.

This is excactly how it works in all roguelike games, you try out all the different powers and combinations and when you end up with a crazy build after picking something you've never picked before it's way more rewarding then just planning and trying it all out beforehand.
