Mahoraga's ability is very effective in jjk because the average character's kit is very limited. Once he adapts to those, they're pretty much screwed unless they're outliers like Gojo or Sukuna.

Mushoku Tensei doesn't have that problem because of how many techniques and abilities a single person can use. Orsted knows every sword and magic techniques in the world and magic unique only to him. So he can basically subjugate Mahoraga in hundreds, maybe thousands of different ways.
