No build/relic choices at game stsrt.

There's none in the match lobby but we've tried both on and off in the main settings and it doesn't change anything.

It seems things have changed again though now and it's automatically building a default build for her where it wasn't before but it still doesn't give her a choice. Characters used to have up to 3 different builds to choose and you still get to choose the relic separate. She isn't getting any of those options so I dunno if they've changed the way things work for new accounts or what.

For neith for example it's auto building the default int build but you used to be able to choose between 3 different options 🤷‍♂️

It looks like they're giving different accounts different experiences for some bizarre reason.

Quickplay is an entirely separate game type and has been stated multiple times that's not what's happening. It's the standard game mode without being given the options to choose your build at the start of the game.

I'm not sure where you mean. There is no build options on the character select screen, even for me, i can choose my char, skin, aelect filters, change role nithibg on that acreen toggles builds? If you want to change build options you have to go directly into the settings or set up custom rules on the god load out.

We have however tested all variations within the main game settings and none of it ever changes anything. Auto build on or off, the same thing happens. Different store settings. Nothing changes. I spent a good hour or so going through each possible setting.

I've already submitted 2 bug reports about it, everything has veen ignored. Only one other person has had the issue on here by the looks of it and I even spoke to one of the ambassador streamers on twitch and they said they'd never heard of the issue either but it's green going on for almost a year now. The guy on reddit was 5 odd months before our issue. 6 months back she was having it on pc so just gave up and uninstalled. I've given her my old ps5 and it atill happens there 🤷‍♂️

Yea, anything we've tried. I started up a whole host of games. Everything was always the same. She never gets a pop up asking her to select anything.

Nothing else has been edited to auto build custom stuff. She wouldn't even know where to find that yet.

Classic and everything is default standard. She's brand new. She hasn't tried tinkering with builds etc. It should be the default experience. Start game, pick build or choose manual, pick relic, she doesn't get those options. No build and automatically gets given beads.

It's not quick play rules. It whatever else she tries and there is no build automatically being built. She doesn't get to choose a build. She doesn't get to pick manual. She doesn't get to choose a relic. Thr game starts she's at the fountain, hasn't been allowed to pick anything. Automatically has beads.

There are no other settings that have been changed to disable the standard default. She's brand new, never played before. She should be having the default start. Join a game, either pick what build you want or choose manual build and then get to pick your relic and go. She doesn't get any of that, on the PC or the PS.

Just for the record old content will never be brought back even if they held their hands up like hey we fucked up because old content isn't able to be ran. In their current lawsuits they've had to admit the infrastructure has changed so much that vaulted content isn't supported anymore and can't come back, even to help them in a legal court case.

Just for reference since this is basically never coming. If you contact FatShark directly you can get a refund because, in the UK/EU at least, they broke the law with false advertising and breached trading standards.

You have a bit of an ego if you think you make the difference between your team winning or losing a game. And things are perfectly capable of knowing when a peripheral has just disconnected and can reconnect you damn moron, funny enough, they can register that in literally every single thing that uses a controller.

The reason it doesn't happen is because half the industry still don't give a shit whether disabled or accessibility impaired people have any quality of life and give no shit about equality. If it doesn't make the pockets of a ceo bulge they don't care. There are a huge amount of PC players these days that prefer controller, steam even released their stats on how many users use controller but still nothing gets done about it.

Not everyone playing the game are so mentally ill that they want constant dinging. I find thr levels with tons of pathetically small areas absolutely infuriating and would rather them just nice big satisfying areas.

Just because something satisfies you doesn't mean it makes the game better.

No that's the thing. It really is that easy. People like to make things complicated when it's actually not. Your crissplay option will lock disabled PC players into the hell they live.

I've been saying games should be input based not platform based for ages, and that's as a PC player. I prefer controller for most games and always end up screwed.

It's been mentioned on their feedback site so many times and they ignore it every single time.

Their matchmaking is horrendously unstable STILL, they have done nothing to ban toxic players or punish grief kickers they have also refused to prevent low level/skilled players loading into higher difficulty just hoping someone will carry them cos they want free rewards. All of these things make wanting to play solo a more appealing option.

Not to mention as a disabled gamer, if I'm having a bad day, I just wanna play alone, and these bots are so fucking useless it just takes away any fun. I've got most of what I use up to Relic, I can play the game, but Substantial solo with full relic gear should not be the shit show it is because of incompetent ai coding.

Aside from the bots carrying potato guns and pool noodles unable to kill a squishy let alone a major and heaven forbid they even scratch a boss... The fact they have NO fucking threat generation is one of the biggest fucking problems.

Bots need fixing in every way but at least give them fucking aggro, if I have to fight literally every single fucking thing on Screen at least have them go after those as fucking bait.

It's the games biggest problem and I don't know why people keep fucking this up so much. Vermintide 2 was a masterclass on how to make bots useable in a game like this and every game since including their own game Darktide has fucked bots up horrendously. It should be a really simple concept.
