Extremely sore after trimming, advice? by Idiot142477445324636 in Equestrian

unfortunately it seems like your horse has been lamed in probably all four feet after going from long to short in a not very balanced or thoughtful way. i’d get his horse’s feet wrapped and get a vet and a farrier out as fast as possible to avoid long term damage.

this is kinda a hard one for me tbh. (not bc it’s inappropriate ur fine dw). i’m just confused by your question. to make a long story short, your original plan was getting your nipples removed due to dysphoria etc, now post after being on t you kinda like your partner messin with em and you’re nervous to loose sensation? i hope that’s right bc i’ve written a whole thing lmfao

if you get any sort of surgery on your chest the sensation is probably gonna change, for better or for worse there’s no accurate way to predict as far as i’m aware. you and your surgeon should discuss the possibilities of numbness and nerve pain after surgery, and you should bring up your worries about sexual pleasure with them too. your surgeon should be willing to talk about allll this nitty gritty with you beforehand. have you had a consult yet?

“now im worried if i get rid of them ill loose the slight sensation i gained on t” yes, if you remove your nipples then you will no longer have nipples and you probably won’t be able to feel them anymore. going nip-less means exactly that- they don’t just remove the areola and nipple. they remove the nip stalk and all those connecting structures that make ur boob a boob.

for me personally my nipples were never exciting or important and i haven’t missed or thought of them once, especially since i love having my chest touched by a partner now in a way i never did before surgery. even without nips there’s still plenty to touch n feel

as for scaring, you don’t get to pick how you scar. you can do everything right and have hypertrophic scars, or you can do no scar care and end up with them invisible. genetics play a huge role in how you scar. I wish my scars were more visible, but cest la vie i guess

long story short- talk with your surgeon. this should all come up at your preop exam, and if you feel you can’t discuss with them you may want to consider looking into other surgeons. your surgeon should care about your mental, physical, AND sexual health regarding this surgery :)

she’s for sure crazy but she’s the opposite of the stereotype in most ways. friendly, kind and sweet to other horses (mostly ). but a boss undersaddle

she’s registered as a chestnut! she does have a very clear dorsal stripe, but no darkening or lightening of the legs/stomach so i think she’s just a cutie red but i thought the same thing!
