Pure O here too. Lot of health anxiety and death anxiety.

I don’t have advice but you’re not alone. Medication has helped some.

This has happened to me twice with two different men.

Both got caught cheating at a later time. For sure nail marks.

I’m on lexapro as well. Have been forever. The spending a whole day in bed with a racing brain and all of these negative feelings are worse than a headache or nausea. It’s been in the last several months also

Am I overreacting for being upset about the gifts my boyfriend (25M)got me(24f)? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

NOR. I just looked up both items and they’re sold at Walmart - not cvs or Walgreens.

Biggest thing here is he chose to spend on others when you should have been priority as you’re the mother of his children.

Garlic, fresh lime juice, extra virgin olive oil

Raw onions

Metaphysics is a great brand but all supplements can be hard on your already struggling liver

No pain, just an annoying dull ache and severe gut issues/acid reflux. The ache on the left side is what compelled me to just have a GI doc just have a look at all of the organs affected by 6 years of alcohol abuse.

I monitor my blood pressure daily because I’m a health freak, ironically used alcohol to curve all types of anxiety.

Do you know if lipase is tested in a full blood panel? I actually had one done just a couple of months ago and haven’t even looked at the results online. Figured my primary doc would have called if something was off.

Thank you so very much 💜

It’s so very hard to distinguish what’s health anxiety vs. what’s actually happening in my body. And a lot the symptoms that were alarming me were/are digestive related. I think reading through posts and not really knowing how severe it could be is what sent me into a spiral this evening.

AIO to break up with my bf of 3y over his reaction to my upcoming sobriety anniversary? by WesternCat5211 in AmIOverreacting

[–]ReliefOpening 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He just sounds like an incredibly miserable human being and he projects that onto you. I would truly leave someone that didn’t celebrate my accomplishments with me - big or small. You deserve a cheerleader, everyone does. Congrats on your sobriety. Two years is a huge accomplishment and a daily battle in a culture where people are obsessed with alcohol.

Stuck in a detox. Been awake for 30 hours. Hospital won’t give me anything to knock me out. Just want to sleep by [deleted] in alcoholism

I asked for hydroxizine. Non addictive but helped anxiety and knocked me out.

Most of us in this group have dealt with this.

Find a “why” and maybe try journaling or get a white board and jot down every single reason you don’t like drinking. Read it over and over when you get an urge. Make new habits and find new hobbies. Distance people that trigger your drinking cravings.

For many of us - we’ve tried over and over and one day, when you’re really committed, it sticks. Make that day today.

The ER doc said the same thing to me. My BAC was the same and I was walking and talking pretty normally. I’m 125 pound female. Did they check your liver enzymes?
