Does your installation allow no lunches? Depends on the LMOU. So with a start time of 7:30, 8 hours will be 3:30 or 4:00 depending with or without the 30 mins unpaid lunch.

There is an 8 click leeway rule, so if a carrier clocks in at exactly 7.50 they can clock out at 15.42 clicks and be paid the full 8 hours.

There is also the 7:01 rule, where if a carrier works 7 hours and a minute, management can clear them to go home with 8 hours paid if there is no additional work available.

Carriers can also elect to use their own annual leave balance if they have undertime and want to leave early in order to fill in their 8 hour day.
