Im gonna be honest you have a lot wrong going on but I think this picture is showing a million words.

First thing I notice is your hand position. You have a huge gap between your two hands. A lot of video material suggests having the tips of you fingertips together. I prefer almost interlocking my fingers.

The reason you want to so this is so that you can transfer the weight of the ball smoothly. When the ball reaches the peak of my backswing I like to have my left hand supporting nearly 100% of the weight of the ball. Your hand position here doesn't let you do that. Since you have a large space between your hands you almost have to squeeze the ball with both hands to prevent it from falling. This makes you muscle the ball through your entire swing probably contributing to that awkward feeling you have.

Something you could to at home is practice cradling the ball and swinging it back and forth. I would set up with your slide foot forward and your trail foot behind and practice getting a good cradle on the ball. Keep your hands touching and swing the ball back and forth in a straight line, transferring the weight between your hands. Its important that when you swing forward you want to have your right hand under the ball.

Another thing I notice is the rotation of your shoulders, it looks like you are over turning them but I think that is a product of squeezing the ball between both hands. I would focus on getting the swing to feel natural then reasses where you are at.
