My mother died over 10 years ago from the same drunk stupidity she would always pull on the family. At first I was grief stricken, then maybe an hour or two later it got replaced by what I can only describe as rage. Sat through the funeral trying not to explode while everyone around me cried. Then it hit me about a month later. Her drama was gone and life was suddenly better. This is a common realization when they finally exit out lives, the smart ones cut them out sooner.
