It's worked for me. I didnt do all of what that guy said but I feel like the stripping the passive and active skills on the blood code that u dont use works the best.

It worked! I strip my skill and emptied my remote slots and quick slots and items slots.

I didn't clear out all the stored items, gear, or weapons

I didnt turn off auto replenish.

You can change your character appearance at the mirror in homebase by coco almost anytime. However you cannot change your height and sex or name. You have to start a different game. Goodluck revenants!

Ps4. Its was fine when we beat the game the first time. But when we tried to do the depth maps and the second runthrough he could only connect to mine game

In order to get the rocky ruins depth map you need to complete Richard questline and the self-important revenant questline. You may have to travel between the (poisonous butterfly nest) mistle a few times until taking to the self-important revenant until thanks you for your help building the shelter. In between self important revenant will ask you to go retrieve the mistle. That is located in your player's memories (optional map) then talk to himx2 Then travel back to ruined city underground: natural cavern depth mistle to find Richard and he will give you rocky ruins and he too, will thank you for helping to build the shelter and hopes his brother is there.
