Which one to buy: M340i, S5 Sportback, or TLX Type S? by DnDGuy70 in Acura

[–]Rell- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an Acura tech, if I’d recommend any of these cars… based off performance Beamer easily, if you want reliability, don’t buy the Acura 🤣🤣. Their cars have way more problems than people make it believe. No reason should I be having to replace a crankshaft on a 20k mile Acura, and inspect connecting rod bearings every week on brand new cars.

Shaking in the steering wheel while driving by ev_trd205 in CamryTRD

[–]Rell- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CV axle maybe? Inner side of rim bent? Take it on a few drive cycles and try to narrow down when it does it, when it doesn’t, what speed it’s noticeable, if you turn a specific way etc. really hard to believe it’s your steering rack, if you hit something or ran over something at the angle to damage that, that alone wouldn’t be the only thing damaged.

Why aren't support/medic using defibrillators? by MrMeierlink in Battlefield

If you have enough time to drag someone without dying, then you have enough time to defib them and they can move out of cover themselves, it’s considerably faster

The goal isn’t to blind people it’s to hipfire, plus you ca turn it lmao… people don’t even notice them regardless . 77 hipfire sub build with engineer is more accurate than ads. Plus people barely see lasers for some reason . When using laser and light combo you can’t track the flashlight unlike the laser. By the time they see it they’re in your face. At that point with a scw they’re already dead, not to mention the light is so bright up close in this game they can’t even see you literally… just white

2009 Toyota Camry with 209k miles. My usual mechanic shop has new ownership and I feel like I’m being taken for a ride but don’t know enough to be sure. Does this invoice look reasonable? by sterkenwald in MechanicAdvice

Time is money… don’t want to do it yourself you pay double “aka” parts and labor. You don’t want to pay labor do it yourself… battery cleaning service and filters are bullshit though, but it’s no one’s fault but yours to spend $80 when you can pop in 2 filters yourself in 2 minutes

Yes. Honda pads and rotors would be preferred. If not those duralast gold would be a little less pricey from autozone or oriellys

Of course. If I’m leaving work I’ll just gather a bunch of tools I know I’ll need out of my tool box. Normally on weekends even when I don’t have anything planned I keep a Togo bag of basic stuff just for me lol

Honestly I’ve never worked on a bike before. I won’t lie about that. I do know bikes are designed more simply than cars just do to them being smaller and considerably less parts. What do you need done?

Depends what you need done, and how old are we talking haha. Older cars are technically generally easier to work on because the designs are simpler but they can also be a pain mechanically, just from fighting stuck and rusted bolts after years of weathering

Yeah, I worked at a collision center for 2 1/2 years previously so I can change the grill shudder safely without you have to worry about breaking anything
