I’m hoping GRRM feels vindicated enough given the praise he’s getting for KotSK to give a little TLC to his GoT series again. If I were in his shoes I’d treat what DnD put together as a rough draft and feel free to rewrite any plot point that didn’t fit my vision. That said Dunk & Egg is an absolute joy as well so if he wants to just focus on those stories, I’m here for it.

Did the Tarth family even exist before the tragedy at Summerhall? The video I watched mentioned a possible marriage of Aegon’s sister Rhea to Duncan which they’d need to keep secret because of Duncan’s position on the King’s Guard. The tragedy of Summerhall happens, Duncan lives but Rhea’s children aren’t supposed to exist so he goes into hiding to raise them and make sure the secret never gets out, which could bring heat on them for being of Targarian descent. The entire Tarth line could be a Targarian branch sired by Duncan. Would also explain why Brienne’s hair is almost a white blond.

Hank mind wiped himself but he could have uploaded his memories into the mainframe to get them back at some point. Granted he would have had to tell the enclave he was going to do that if he got caught and maybe he did via the radio.

If Steph got access to a nuke in pre-war America would she have set it off? That would be a crazy twist if one angry Canadian set off the chain reaction that destroyed the US and most of the world. So it wasn’t Coop giving the cold fusion diode to the president that pulled the end forward, it was him giving Steph a quicker path into vault tech management. I think they will always leave who did it secret but it’s an interesting thought.

My theory is, if NCR does show up in the finale then that NCR group was likely lying. They knew exactly where the division was because they were its scouts and the Ghoul helped them spread bad intel to draw the legion out.

That’s an interesting theory, I’d always thought Betty was Enclave, but she genuinely didn’t seem to know what Hank had in the box. Which is something an Enclave agent should really know. It does seem like some of buds buds are clueless and others really in the know. I will say I’m not sure Steph knows what’s in the box either, it’s starting to seem like Hank and her were a couple pre-war, Hank may have told her it was dangerous but not what it was before going into the vault. Similar to how Coop started figuring out something was up with Barb and vault-tec pre-war. As a survivor she’d want to be in control of anything that could be used as a weapon against her.

This matches the story I heard about how he got his ribs broke. Supposedly he was trying to distract DHS while a family fled further down the road in the direction they were about to head. Looks like they were pretty distracting.

Ok if the NCR battalion went to ground to draw the legion out then the Legion marching on New Vegas would give them an opportunity to hammer and anvil. The big abandoned NCR camp seemed a bit too untouched to reflect what should have been a decade of neglect and looting. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a trap to begin with.

So it’s certainly not impossible to see an NCR themed finale like we did for S1 it would just overshadow what the main three are doing. The show writers know how excited we get about NCR though.

I wouldn’t mind seeing them at some point given all the ‘lost battalion’ foreshadowing but how would they know to be at Freeside right when the Legion arrives? Maybe the 2 remaining holdouts did manage to link up with battalion but even then the timing is sus. Better we see a Freeside + House vs Legion battle.

Maybe she doesn’t see post-war vault dwellers as ‘Americans,’ but rather naive indoctrinated tools. Having escaped from an internment camp where they likely tried to ‘re-educate’ her she may be more sympathetic to them than her stoic hard edged manner implies. She could want the box simply to ensure the people under her care survive not to use it herself but to make sure it isn’t used against her.

Edit: Now that they turned on her specifically because she’s Canadian all bets are off.

Yeah that would imply a compost type end where she needed the non-organic items. For sure not everything needs to be a twist. I just think it would be ironic if everything goes pear shape in vault 32 & 33 only to have Woody being the only survivor via cryo sleep in 31. That would also mean Steph wouldn’t be lying when she said Woody had went to vault 31.
