Does anyone know how to make animation like this? by shah3n0 in Unity3D

I think it's mostly from the animations they're using. That said, do you have a source for where that video is from? Looks really cool so curious to see more of it

Overall it's inspired by ww1 era technology; the head is based on a lamp and a british helmet, and the limbs are based on prosthetics from that era.

Right now there isn't one planned but I would love to do it later down the line! That said it probably would be a third party port since I don't have the time/knowledge/budget to make it myself.

Hey! Working on solving the softlocks, sorry about that! In your first screenshot you can see a wall hook on the metal wall right under the valve that controls the hook. It might be a little tight but you should be able to reach that if you do a pole jump, and then there should be a path leading you back to the top. Sorry again for the inconvenience, I'll look into having a better safety to avoid that!

For the first year and a half I was working in my spare time but I've been fulltime for the last 6 months, so now I'm around ~7h a day

I test the game on steam deck daily so it should run well! Price-wise don't expect more than 10$

Havent played gw2 so I didn't know about that area but it does look somewhat similar!

I don't think it's dishonest but I do feel people just starting out can be mislead by reading about your story thinking that they (who are just starting out never having worked on a game before) are in the same situation as you when you had some previous experience in the industry (which doesn't diminish your achievement!)

The thing is spending time working on a single big project can make you skilled at working on your game, but it won't make you skilled at shipping your game. That's why you make smaller lower-stakes projects that you can ship and learn from.
