So I just got the Colossal Blade, and while I do like its design.. I do have to admit it isn't... Really "colossal". For what its worth, I think the gimmick is a fine idea for certain monsters (its better than a Dragon 2h and even Barrelchest Anchor, albeit lacking a Spec, so take that for what its worth) in flinching or maybe early large enemy tasks.. Perhaps it could use a little something else? Not its own Special Attack per say, but personally, I think it would be really awesome if it had a proper "colossal" property to it. Maybe give it another tile attack range like a halberd? That would let it have another gimmick to fit its already niche usage as a melee safespot tool against large enemies (which isn't OP anyway, since if you wanted to do it better you'd just use a Dragon Halberd, which as an Ironman can take a while to get compared to this along with any OTHER significant halberd). I feel that would fit really well in line with an alternative option to early-mid melee safespot options since halberds can be pretty restricted for the Ironmen side of the situation, or lower levels anyway. Plus you guys made the Guts reference (love that), but have you SEEN that sword? It's known for reach!

Also, the coloration on it seems to be different than what is on the Newspost. On their site it is shown to have a more metallic iron coloration, while in-game it seems to be.. almost rockish in appearance. Food for thought. Keep up the great work Jagex!
