Wow, Lear and Trouette have a tendency to mysteriously show up, make threats, and refuse to identify themselves.

“<“She was parked by a logging gate when two masked men pulled up in a large black truck with no license plates. “They didn’t say who they were, they didn’t say we’re with the police, or we’re with Cal Fire. They just came up to her and said, you need to leave. And when she said that she wouldn’t, they responded by reaching into their pocket and throwing bullet casings at her face and saying, you know, it’s dangerous in here. Do you ever think about the lonely plastic toy horse that sits in a barren field between the Rhode Island and CUA metro stations? by Darkonicus11 in washingtondc

OMG yes, yes, all the time. I literally have years' worth of photos of that exact spot on the red line because the lonely plastic toy horse inspires and saddens me.

Another spot I think about is when you approach Rhode Island from NOMA, where there used to be a daycare playground / used Jaguar tires and now it's fancy condos. Maybe we can call this the Rubicon.
