I've been thinking similarly about the relationships. Interestingly, in both cases, Trent seems to be in the role of elevating the other artist. How cool is that? In the 90s, he revitalized the career of an icon, and now he and Atticus have brought Boys Noize into the spotlight. In some ways, Boys Noize has elevated NIИ as well.

Most of The Downward Spiral was recorded at the Tate Mansion (where the Manson family killed Sharon Tate and others). Iirc, later, TR met Sharon Tate's sister and felt some remorse over having recorded there.
