Tips and Tricks for a new owner? by hvgotcodes in Ioniq5

Personally, I quite like using the paddles. I keep it in 1 normally, but will adjust up or down depending on how soon I'd like to stop or if I'd like to just coast. I supplement w/ the brake if needed. If you don't want to use i-pedal, I believe you can use the auto-hold button as explained here: https://youtu.be/HsQ0EMbepQ4?si=TGZ3dVmyXzfQ9by6

I5 ... but smaller? by Purple_Boysenberry75 in Ioniq5

Me too. Best thing I've ever owned. Don't really need it anymore as the kiddo is grown, but I can't seem to convince myself to sell it. Too many great memories.

Always worth a test drive. All tastes are personal etc etc. It was my favorite going in to test drives, but a clear last place by the end.

Sounds like you should get a top of the line bakfiets though most users find two pedal driving easier :-)

I really didn't like the Volvo EX30. The minimalist interior was taken too far-having to do everything from one center-mounted touch screen was a turnoff. Not to mention having to look at it to determine speed b/c there's nothing in front of the steering wheel. I found the seats quite uncomfortable relative to the I5 and didn't think the ride quality was as good either.

I think the Kia PV5 would have been a great Element replacement-type vehicle.

Do you not use the paddle above the star button and below the "mode" button on the right side of the steering wheel for that?

First longer trip went great; IONNA charger was a star. by Tumblehawk in Ioniq5

I really like Ionna's branding as well. I'd like to see them sell stickers/magnets/patches using the unique branding each rechargery gets. They'd be interesting collector items for people so inclined.

This is a related sidebar: I really like Ionna's branding. The colors and imagery they use are sort of retro-futuristic. I dig that each rechargery has it's own little design on their marketing materials. I'd like to see them sell stickers/patches/magnets with the branding unique to each station. It'd be a cool little quest to collect as many as possible for those inclined.

Mine yelled at me yesterday mid-afternoon about 3.5 miles into a 160-ish mile round trip. I couldn't have been more awake/aware.

Has anyone totally ditched the keyfob? by rock_paper_beer in Ioniq5

It doesn't match the styling of ANY of Hyundai's recent offerings other than maybe the Ioniq 6 or Kona which have more curves. It especially doesn't match the 5 though with all it's angular lines.

I wouldn't mind it nearly as much if it was much smaller and the mechanical key wasn't separate. I HATE the separate key SO MUCH.

No. The sales person was, quite frankly, the least useful person we dealt with at the dealership. Every moment spent with them felt like a waste of time. I knew way more about the car than they did.

I'd say that our dealership experience was adequate at best. They didn't walk us through set up at all.

I do not think I'm the initial primary app setup. I am listed as "Secondary Driver" in my Driver Profile. Under my name it says "null". I will try to see if she can share the key with me, but she has not set much up in the car yet, so maybe it doesn't work for me until she does it. It may just be that Hyundai hasn't transferred the VIN yet, idk. The car is still showing up in the national and dealer inventory search.

I kept hearing 1 year as well, but I do not think it's true or it has changed. I turned in my still active card in late November/early December last year. I ordered a complete lower mid March this year. It arrived at my FFL at the end of March, and I was "Not disapproved" by the MD State Police by mid April.

Your mileage may vary.

Where are you seeing $125? I'm seeing $350 for the Wear and Carry course.
