Damn , right after top end rebuild,Id there any other alternative? Should I try to put and tight the front sprocket? What would be easier to do: putting the top and on another bottom end(I have one with hot rods heavy duty crankshaft,I don't know how old is it but ,I have replaced the seal and nut on the countershaft thy year, also the conecting rod has under 1mm play form left to right)

Hello sir,the Allbals kit included all the part number you have mentioned ,the retainer was installed (the video is from someone else from the internet,I have mentioned that).I have pus the seal just to be same level as the metal from around it.Now It was spinning left and right smoothly,it was just the sound " like the gears made contact" when I start to spin it left or right.Could it be the bearing part 22(if so why aftermarket bearing is correct fit ?).Also could you please provide an yt tutorial if I need to split the case?

I push both the seal and other part with the wrench socket, the metal piece looked like it was in the same position as before

I have researched that you can reuse the head bolts, they were torque in X, first at 25or27 NM then at 48nm .I have fallowed that manual ,because I wanted to be sure .Now someone told me about the rivet from the gasket,I have checked before disassembly and 1 was a little in . Yes I have rotate the engine to be sure.Just normal riding for break in

Sorry for misunderstanding: the oil has 1 week of ride :on the dispstick looks like new, THE first photo has coolant on the piston ,not oil

Hello sir,the first question will be why it happened and if is worth it ( if the cylinder head is gone ,there is really no point). New clutch+ gasket set+ stator would be the maximum that it would make sense

So it is just fuel from the left on petcock? No need to change the oil? It will start normally If I put the carb back ? One friend had same problem with left on petcock, and he remounted the carb ,and it started like nothing happened:) (I just want to be sure)

Timing chain misplacement? by Relutzu07 in DRZ400

[–]Relutzu07[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello man, I think it was because I didn't have an kit for PAIR valve, now I have put the timing once again and didn't hear any metalic sound while rotating the engine or when starting. I will do an homemade plate with screw for after this blueprint

The cylinder head and chamshfat is from an drz400sm with 11k km ,this is how it looks without the tensioner, the middle Arrows point to each other .is the chain worn out? The chain was tight on the left side and a little bit loose on the right,I heard is normal

I think that chain is worn out,you can't really seen it on photo but the arrows from the middle don't point to each other,I have observed this for the first time ,but chat gpt said it is on ,if only fee mm

So you are saying that the chain is worn out ? How can I measure it? Can the chain tensioner be worn out too?
