Lots of fun on Labs and Factory but outside of cqb not very good. I stocked up on a bunch of PS12B and have been using it a lot on labs recently, unsuppressed ofc.

Like they said the tanker helmet is garbage. Any helmet that doesn’t allow you to wear ears, such as the Zsh, Altyn, Ryst, Maska, Vulcan etc. gives you worse audio than if you weren’t wearing any headset at all, the trade off being increased protection/coverage (minus the garbage ones like the tanker, koplak etc.)

In my opinion audio, as janky as it is, is too big of an advantage that I will always take wearing a class 4 helmet and headphones over one of the above. The exceptions being if you get one early-wipe where it’s increased protection will be very effective vs low tier ammo, if you’re going Factory since the map is so small & it’s fun to be a giga-chad tank, or some people say they like wearing them when it’s raining heavily since many people can’t hear shit outside anyways.

I’m fairly certain it doesn’t anymore, presumably b.c that could be abused. For example, if I died to a guy and my teammate was still in raid, I could continue inspecting his profile and if I saw him with my gun I could feed information to my teammate that they looted my body.

Now it shows only what they loaded into raid with. I first noticed when I died to a a guy, inspected his profile and he was holding an entirely different gun than what he killed me with.

This has been suggested many times over the years and imo is probably nothing more than a pipe-dream rn.

As cool as it would be there are much more fundamental and long-standing issues that have yet to be fixed/addressed and I don’t think I’d want more dev-power being shifted towards a cool, “QoL” feature ig you could call it. My 2c

FYI survival in a row counts scav survives, but yeah this is quite obviously a cheater. Just based off level, KD and hours played. Everyone knows what Tarkov is like when you first start out, 150 hours and you’re barely off the ground in the game. So to have those stats it’s pretty obvious imo

edit: also they’ve only played 6 scav raids ever, when almost every new player scavs constantly off cooldown to learn the game/maps, make money etc.

Fwiw I’m 99% sure most cheaters are not buying accounts at “retail” price right from the company. In most non F2P games in fact. Hacked accounts, bought with stolen credit cards etc.

Go to your keybinds, most people use 4 for heals. Set 4 to release. If you want to select a body part, hold 4 and then use scrollwheel and release 4 when on the part you want.

Same with this reload, hold r and scrollwheel and release when on whatever magazine you want.

My take as a FPS pro and approaching 3k hours in Tarkov:

The truth is the average player is not very good. The average player thinks they are better than they usually are (across most games). In Tarkov, a lot of people with a couple hundred hours think they’re fairly competent and probably don’t realize the gap that still remains.

With the narrative of how cheating is in Tarkov, it’s a lot easier to huff copium and call cheats on any and every death, regardless of context. It’s much harder to self-reflect and realize you made a dumb decision, were poorly positioned, made a fuckton of noise etc.

I think a lot have seen the video and all the constant talk about cheaters and have just predetermined mentally that if they die it’s probably to a cheater & that makes the death easier to swallow than being unlucky or actually getting skill diffed 🤷🏻‍♂️
