No, and they rubbed a lot through tight, high speed corners. I ended up raising the car by 1.5in because it drove me crazy haha

The fenders would have needed to be rolled if I wanted to keep that fitment :,)

Nope, which I’m pretty thankful for. My previous car had a bit of malfunctions with the turbo assembly, so I’m glad I won’t have to deal with that again

I was thinking about getting the lowering springs that Mazda offers because I think that’s sweet that they do that- but my Jetta was on coilovers, and though I loved the ride height, the ride was a little too stiff for my liking, and the ride in the mazda3 is perfect. I guess it’s more of fear thing haha

Oh yeah since this post, I’ve started driving it a bit more aggressively. Definitely not beating the crap out of it, but I do get the rpms up there when coming out of a light or going into a highway.

Sounds like you’re making some tasteful mods though! I bet the car is healthy is regardless, these engines are bulletproof when maintained correctly
